Playing live at this year’s Liverpool Twestival (that’s 25 March, date pedants!) are top Liverpool pop combo Man Get Out. They’ve recently won the city’s ‘Glastonbaby Battle of The Bands’ competition and have quite the following.

Their groovy sounds are sure to be bothering the hit parade any day now, so come along and do the Mashed Potato with them before anyone else.

Tickets for the Liverpool Twestival (25 March, Mood, Fleet Street) are now on sale.

Tickets are priced at the more than reasonable £5 each.

However, as ALL the proceeds go to helping others less fortunate than ourselves, there is the option to pay double. So all you lovely people with a spare fiver in your purse / wallet / pocket / shoe, cough up and feel the warm glow of helping your fellow man.

Food. Let’s be honest, we all love it, and providing tasty nibbles is often an event dealbreaker.

So with this in mind, we’ve managed to get some top skoff lined up for the Liverpool Twestival (25 March, Moods, Fleets Street, fact-fans).

Those wonderful people at Cromwell’s have agreed to lay on canapes for 100 people at the event. That means if we stop selling tickets at 50, we can all have double! Only kidding, we want as many of you gorgeous people as possible to come along.

There’s going to be a party on my tongue and everyone’s invited!

Hooray! We have a confirmed venue for the Liverpool Twestival 2010!

This year we will be hanging out at Mood on Fleet Street, Liverpool City Centre.

Mood is one of Liverpool’s premier destination night spots. Situated in the heart of Liverpool’s Rope Walks quarter, it’s a great place to meet and we’re lucky and grateful to be welcomed there.

As well as the bar area for general getting down we hope to have a quieter ‘chill out’ space where can admire our Twitter feed and have a good old chin wag. Something for everyone then!

Liverpool band Man Get Out have been confirmed as playing at the Liverpool Twestival on March 25
