So Twestival has been and gone, for 2009 at least. It seems a good night was had by all, with music, eating, chatting, drinking, raffling and a little bit of dancing too. The atmosphere was great at Leaf, with approximately 80 people attending Liverpool Twestival.

The name tags (albeit basic!) did their job of introducing @twitter names, and opening lots of conversations such as “ooh, I follow you”, which in any other setting may seem a little strange…

Many photographs  and videos were taken and there were smiles a plenty.

Last night’s event raised £507 exacty through a variety of auction prizes, door donations and raffle ticket sales. Amazing that it only took 3 weeks to pull this event together, and to be able to give that amount of money to Charity:Water to support their work in getting clean drinking water to as many people as possible.

The music was a real talking point with Sparkwood & 21 opening the night, 6ix Toys headlining and The Lapis finishing off.
